REVEALED! Dubai’s First Completely Self-Driving Car Is Expected To Hit The Streets By 2023

Avatar

Expect to see one of these ‘self-driving’ cars around Sheikh Zayed Road in four years.

Move over, Tesla cus Dubai-based W Motors’ fully electric car will soon begin its production in a factory being built in Silicon Oasis.

Yup, according to The National, this car will have a speed of (guess this) 160kph!

HH Sheikh Mohammed and HH Sheikh Hamdan got to see the vehicle at an exhibit

Their royal highnesses, Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai and Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum is the Deputy Ruler of Dubai and the Minister of Finance and Industry of the United Arab Emirates , were both present at the unveiling of the vehicle’s prototype in an Abu Dhabi exhibition.

And from the looks of it, they seemed impressed.

After all, the car’s prospective features are distinguished- the car, called Muse, is expected to be ready and on Sheikh Zayed Road and fully self-operated by the year 2023.

The car won’t just drive itself but be an unofficial guide too

What is a best friend when Muse will also suggest shopping and dining tips based on the drivers’ previous activities. The car’s seats are also able to rotate, making it a convenient location for video conferences since there will also be a 40-inch screen intact.

I know what you’re thinking…

…but the car won’t be readily sold to public immediately after development

Instead, it will be akin to the process of booking a Careem or an Uber, done digitally. Options for family use will also be available, including a bed and other forms of entertainment.

Can we live in this car already?
