HH Sheikh Mohammed Made A Touching Offer To All Citizens Following Monday Morning’s Tragic Fire Which Killed Seven Children
A tragic fire in a Fujairah home this morning took the lives of seven children.
The children, aged between five and 13-years-old were sleeping with the fire broke out in an AC unit.
They died from smoke suffocation.
In wake of the heartbreaking accident, HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai has ordered for fire alarm systems to be installed in the home of every citizen who can’t afford one.
The government will cover the costs.
Following a tragic house fire that led to the death of seven children from the same family in Fujairah, @HHShkMohd directs the #UAE Civil Defense to immediately install fire alarm systems in every citizen’s home at the expense of government for those who can’t afford it.

HH Sheikh Mohammed offered condolences and mourned the loss of the children

A fire in the Fujairah home was reported early on Monday morning
The fire broke out in an air conditioning unit and was reported at 5.40am.
Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the home.
At 7.45am the children were found by their mother, unconscious in their home. Their bodies were moved to Dibba Fujairah hospital, according to the report.
An investigation into the fire is ongoing.
The children will be buried at Rol Dhadna cemetery following prayers at Al Dhuhr.
