A Hotel Made A Video In DIFC About Helping People But It Looks As Though The Whole Thing Was Staged

When the Sheraton Hotels released a video, it made us go ‘nawwww’.

The video shows Sheraton employees visiting workers in DIFC and offering them some small comforts while they are working late.

It’s a great initiative.

The video is captioned “Watch Sheraton delight late night workers with random acts of kindness at the Dubai International Financial Centre. #SheratonDelights”

The video has garnered more than two million views since it was shared on the Sheraton Hotels & Resorts’ official Facebook page.

But rather than be an authentic quest to help out some of Dubai’s hardest working staff, it seems the video was all a marketing stunt

With some known Dubai actors starring as both a Sheraton employee and another as a late-night worker.

Adrian Hurley is a magician and actor who is pictured as a worker in the office

And the video shows him being offered a massage by another Dubai MC and actor – Tyler Davis Smith

Which seems to be a bit too much of a coincidence.

It’s unclear who else in the video is an actor or whether this one scene is the only staged one

And it would have been a really lovely concept otherwise – with Sheraton ‘staff’ offering late-night workers comforts like slippers, massages, free rides home and drinks.
