Spotted in Dubai
Dubai is heaving with celebrity visitors this week, you couldn’t walk into a nightclub without bumping into a footballer or a reality TV star. A little thing called The Dubai World Cup is mostly responsible….and Denise Van Outen seems to be responsible for the rest…
Footballers (again)
Being retired or not selected by your national team isn’t such a bad thing it would seem, it means you can head to Dubai…again…and take another break.
John Terry has obviously been reading our bucket list and ticked one off the list during his visit this week. Normally known more for tough tackling than diving, JT decided to give diving a go (in the most extreme sense of the word as you can see below).
Chelsea fans will be pleased to know that he landed safely, and here he is enjoying being back on land at Atlantis with wife Toni.
You can stop tensing now John!
We like to think we are pretty good celeb detectives here at Lovin Dubai, but it doesn’t take the best detective to spot Peter Crouch in a group photo (seen here with wife Abbey Clancy who we will discuss later). Standing at 6FT 7, in the back row, here is the former England striker enjoying the races with some celeb pals.
Manchester United and England defender Luke Shaw also made the most of being injured by flying out for the Dubai World Cup. We’ve not spoken to him but we are ‘Shaw’ that he had a great day at the races from this pic…
Shaw’s Manchester United team mate Jesse Lingard also took a trip out to Dubai, but it looks like he prefers more exotic animals than horses. Take a look below at Jesse making friends with a whole host of animals at the zoo…we think he might have a touch of the Dr Doolittle about him.
Michael Owen is known as being a great goal scorer rather than the life and soul of the party – demonstrated by his to-the-point Tweet from Dubai below. Happy Easter to you too Michael.
What do you do when your team is battling relegation and you’ve been given some time off? Get to the gym and train? No chance, get yourself to Dubai like the Aston Villa and Crystal Palace players Gabby Agbonlahor, Micah Richards, Frazier Campbell & Dwight Gayle . The quartet headed to People by Crystal after the Janet Jackson gig to ‘unwind’.

Reality TV stars (again)
Last week we had Joey Essex and this week we were again treated to reality TV royalty in Mark Wright.
Mark showed us it’s just as possible to ‘ave it in Dubai as it is in Essex, below at Blue Marlin.
Then ‘avin it some more in Movida
After two nights of ‘avin it, some fuel is clearly needed, we don’t blame you Mark.
The recovery breakfast clearly worked, as Mark was then spotted at the races, this time with water.
From The Only Way is Essex to Made in Chelsea now as Millie Mackintosh also came to town. After splitting from husband Professor Green she decided that the perfect ‘Remedy‘ was some fun and sun in Dubai, ‘Read All About It‘ below (apologies for the Pro Green puns there Millie).
For someone used to the glamour of Chelsea, where better to stop off than the British Polo Day in Dubai.
It seems like the polo escalated slightly for Millie though, we can still see you by the way.
We all know that if you can’t hide from your hangover, then you only really have one option…get back on it.
Seems like Millie loved a bit of Dubai and doesn’t want to leave – that’s simple, just stay, we can be very accommodating!
Denise Van Outen (and pals)
Denise Van Outen has been very busy in Dubai this week, bringing a whole host of celebrity pals Outen with her (sorry, that was bad!)
A trip to Dubai this week wasn’t complete without a visit to the World Cup, here she is enjoying the horses with Abbey Clancy and Kelly Hidge.
She also had time for some golf at a charity bash, here she is with former Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers

Boyfriend Eddie Boxhall may have enjoyed the golf day slightly less than Brendan judging by this…
Next, cue another outfit change and another celeb pal – this time with Michael Vaughan at the Grosvenor House Charity Ball
ANOTHER outfit change and ANOTHER celeb pal (are you keeping count) for Denise now as she goes all 60’s on us with Abbey, Kelly and Elle Clancy
After all that Denise deserved some time alone…but just one more outfit change first
Tattooed Drummers
Sleeping With Sirens drummer Gabe Barham reckons he has set a new record in Dubai for ‘most tatted boy’ on the course – we won’t encourage you to try and break that record, but any inked up men out there who are handy with a club, the gauntlet has been thrown down.
Janet Jackson
You must have been buried in the desert to not know that Janet Jackson was in town performing at the World Cup.
Based on her explosive performance we hope it isn’t too long until Janet and Dubai are ‘Together Again‘.

And various other artists…
Not often mentioned in the same article as Janet Jackson but Blue member Dane Bowers was also present at the World Cup. We aren’t sure if it was a lengthy visit or just a ‘Fly By‘ but good to see you Dane.
Finally, not quite here yet but coming soon is Wiz Khalifa – and if you wanted to know what he will and won’t be doing whilst out here then see below. See you soon Wiz!
