The First Ever Electric Vehicle Road Trip In The UAE Is Taking Place Next Week
The cost of luxury can, at times, sacrifice the sustainability of our future. It’s the sad truth that style has amassed the conscious decisions of individuals, to live and support a more eco- friendly lifestyle.
The Emirates Electric Vehicle Road event is the first of its kind in the Middle East, bringing to the UAE, the experience of driving electrical cars all over the country. Not only do these vehicles look as pleasing as a regular luxurious car, it also drives like it- the only difference is that when you drive an electric vehicle, you’re helping make a change.

The event of the same kind took place in London two years ago, following its success, they also shared the experience all over Europe but this year, the experience of being able to drive electric vehicles and learn all about how they is going to take place in the UAE.
The journey of driving across the country will take 4 days total…
Starting at the Burj al Arab this Sunday morning at 8am, from Dubai, the road trip will begin its 700km route through all the seven Emirates. It will include introductions and demonstrations and will head off to Sharjah.
A fleet of 10 cars will head out this Sunday
A convoy of over 3 Renault, 6 Tesla and one Volkswagen cars will be ready to set out on this journey. You can chose to join from a specific area/day, or be a daredevil and go through the entire 4-day adventure.
There’s even options to drive the vehicle yourself and learn about its technicalities and benefactors or watch as a passenger.
A fun learning experience for everyone
Apart from being able to test drive the cars, there will be workshops, gala dinners and showcasing of the best technology. The new charging stations for these vehicles will be unveiled in Ras Al Khaimah, in Fujairah and Abu Dhabi.
The itinerary of the event feels like a staycation in the UAE on its own. In Ras Al Khaimah, there’ll be a morning agenda for yoga, watersports, and so much more,.
