The Louvre Abu Dhabi Is Finally Opening After Ten Years In The Making
Ten years after the original AED 4 billion contract was signed, The Louvre Abu Dhabi is finally opening. Following multiple construction delays, the museum’s opening has been delayed but is expected to occur in November of this year. Although an exact date is yet to be confirmed, there are talks that it will happen in the second half of the month.

Sources close to the project say that this depends on the new French president’s schedule – among other factors. The opening date could well be between Armistice Day on 11 November, The Abu Dhabi F1 Grand Prix and the UAE National Day on 2 December – so it looks like we’ve got our weekend planned!
