There Will Be Midday Breaks Over The Next Three Months For All Labourers In Dubai

Starting from 15 June to 15 September, there will be a shift in all labour workers working days. And, we can’t say we’re not happy about it. With temperatures reaching 50 degrees, the workers are getting midday breaks to cope with the impending heat. During the hottest hours of the day, workers will be having a two and a half hour break until the temperature cools down and it is safe for them to work. 

Violators will be fined

The midday break was also implemented last year and companies and workers are strictly instructed to follow the rules. Companies who violate the rules are subjected to fines of 5,000 AED per worker and a maximum of 50,000 AED if the case involves a large number of workers.
