These Are The 5 Most Dangerous Roads In Dubai Based On Accidents and Death Counts
The Dubai Police Traffic Department revealed on Sunday that Emirates Roads leads in the top five most dangerous roads in Dubai. The reason Emirates Road is first on this list is due to the high number of fatalities during the first half of 2017.
Here’s the roads from least to most dangerous:
5. Al- Khail Road
Compared to last year’s two accidents that resulted in deaths, Al-Khail road has still not seen any incidents during the first half of this year.
4. Dubai- Al Ain Road
Brig Al Mazroui identified this road as the fourth due to the five deaths that occured the first half of this year, as opposed to three last year.
3. Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Road
This road witnessed seven accidents that all resulted in deaths, which is a decrease compared to the 20 deaths it saw around the same time last year.

According to Gulf News, 10 people have died on Emirates Road during the first few months of this year.
The department should continue carrying out awareness campaigns on the best road practices and intensify police patrols around areas prone to frequent accidents to reduce road deaths
