This Chili Recipe Is The Ultimate Comfort Food When You’re Feeling Gloomy

We all have those lazy Monday afternoons after work when we’re feeling just gloomy. In those days, a comfortable dish and your favorite Netflix show will do wonders in cheering you up. 

Why not stir those Mondays up a bit and treat yourself to this delicious comfort chili?

Here’s a yummy recipe for you:

The Glorious Recipe 

600 grams of ground beef 

1 of each green, red and yellow capsicum

can of red kidney beans 

2 cubes of  Maggi stock

cilantro or coriander (to your preference)

half a litre of water

can of diced tomatoes 

Mushrooms (500 mg) 

Spices

Salt

Pepper

Paprika

Chili Powder 

Green chili 

Onion

(Amount of spice depends on your preference, you can put a little or more) 

For the vegetarian option, you can substitute the meat for green lentils.

Preparing the Ingredients and Cooking In Under 15 Mins (Easy Recipe)

1. Let the ground beef cook with the onions in a pot until the meat is tender

2. Add the tomatoes with juice, beans and water

3. Season it with all the spices!

4. Bring it to a boil

5. Reduce the heat, cover and simmer for 14-15 minutes

6. Voila, you’re done!
