This Dubai Based Mogul Made Forbes World’s Richest Arabs List

It looks like Huda Kattan isn’t the only one reppin’ Dubai on the Forbes list. For the first time ever, Majid Al Futtaim has landed a spot – at a whopping second place in Forbes Middle East’s World’s Richest Arabs list. The April issue valued the business mogul’s wealth at over 36 billion AED. That’s quite a heavy wallet. Making the top spot with 70 billion AED is Saudi Arabia’s Prince Alwaleed bin Talal whilst in third place is Saudi Arabia’s Mohammed Al Amoudi.

And it’s no surprise that he’s made the list…

Majid Al Futtaim is the founder of the Majid Al Futtaim Group, which introduced Carrefour to the Middle East. It also operates Ski Dubai and Magic Planet. If that wasn’t enough to keep Al Futtaim busy, the group has 129 cinemas across the UAE, Lebanon and Oman under the VOX Cinemas brand. VOX also hosts IMAX, 4D and a little-known luxury that goes by the name of Theatre by Rhodes. Leave some for the rest of us, sir!
