This Free Iftar Initiative Is Back For Its Seventh Year Running Thanks To The RTA

For the seventh year in a row, the RTA has brought back the ‘Meals on Wheels’ initiative. The initiative will see two RTA buses distributing 4,000 iftar meals to public transport riders in five bus stations, as well as four metro stations. Alongside the UAE Food Bank and Beit Al Khair Society, The RTA has also teamed up with the Community Development Authority in aid of the Dubai Volunteering initiative. 

The RTA will also be helping 400 families in Hatta as well as underprivileged areas in the region in honor of Zayed Humanitarian Day. CEOS, directors and employees of the RTA will be taking part to help these families on the 19th day of Ramadan.
