This New Initiative Ensures Outdoor Workers Have A Midday Break During Summers
With temperatures hitting almost 50 degrees, the Ministry of Human Resources and Emiratisation has announced that people working outdoors during summers will get a midday break.

It’s no surprise that summers in Dubai can be a little too hot, and with this initiative, it will be easier for workers to deal with the hottest time of the year.
According to local news, this considerate initiative will start from Saturday and the midday day break will be from 12.30pm to 3 pm every day till September 15 2019. Along with this, workers will also be provided with cold water, first aid kits and items such as salt and lemon so that this time is bearable for them. Any business breaking these rules for the labourers will be fined AED5000 for each worker.
