Let’s face it, we’ve all been overtaken by speeding Lamborghinis on Sheikh Zayed Road and let out a little sign of envy. Unlike this guy who asked if every man in Dubai owns a Ferrari, we know that supercars in our city are generally limited to the super-rich. Luckily, you’ve now got the chance to get behind the wheel as part of a record-breaking virtual reality experience.

Offering a 360-degree, VR view of Dubai’s ‘Supercars Parade’ – in which $150 million worth of Ferraris, Lamborghinis, Bugattis and more took part – a virtual reality start up, 360 MEA, has released a video online allowing you to immerse yourself in the action. And it’s pretty awesome.

As the parade rolls, you can control your view, looking from the city’s peaking skyline to the snaking line of supercars behind you. It may not be the real thing, but it’s as close as a lot of us will ever get.

Claiming two World Records – the first for 58 car brands participating in an event and the second for the world’s largest ‘selfie relay’ (whatever that is) – the company are planning on using the cutting-edge technology for weddings, private events and even flat-hunting.

If we’re honest, we could do with the flat-hunting option here in Dubai. So let’s see what happens.
