These Two Attractions Have Been Voted Tourist Favourites In Dubai And It’s Easy To See Why
A survey of 1,212 people, carried out by Arabian Falcon Holidays has given some insights into the tourism industry in Dubai.
The survey not only revealed the top attractions in Dubai but looks at the growth of the tourism industry in the region.
The favourite tourist attractions were revealed
It probably won’t surprise you to see that the Burj Khalifa and the The Dubai Fountain have been chosen by tourists as their favourite attractions.
The Burj Khalifa impresses at 828 metres tall, towering over the city and giving visitors amazing views, while the Dubai Fountain mesmerises visitors as the worlds second largest choreographed fountain.
Other attractions that made the Top Five proved a strong family focus
Family attractions topped the list of this survey showing just how family friendly Dubai is for holiday makers.
Dubai’s shopping malls took second place followed by the Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo, The Palm and Dubai’s restaurants rounding off the top five.
Tourists spend an average of one week exploring Dubai
With so many world class attractions, hotels and activities it’s no surprise that visitors are spending more time here.
23% of visitors stayed up to two weeks exploring Dubai while 8.5% of tourists stayed longer than two weeks to experience all that Dubai has to offer.
And of those surveyed by AFH, 70% wished they could stay even longer in the city.
Tourism numbers are on the rise too
In 2016 Dubai welcomed a whopping 14.9 million tourists with Dubai tourism outpacing global growth.
Already in the first two months of 2017, three million tourists have visited Dubai which sees the goal of attracting over 20 million visitors by 2020 very achievable.
