A Down Syndrome Centre Has Opened Up In Dubai To Improve The Quality Of Life Of Kids

Dubai has opened up a new centre for children and adolescents with Down Syndrome to improve their quality of life. It’s heartwarming to see this incredible centre open up and allow a safe space for those with Down Syndrome.

The Dubai Down Syndrome Centre, opened on May 11 and was inaugurated by Hessa Essa Buhumaid, Minister of Community Development.

This will be a safe space for children between 5 and 18 years

The whole idea was to create a safe space for children between the ages of 5 to 18 years old where they can learn various skills and become active members of the community.

Along with this, the faculty of the centre consists of occupational and speech therapist and teachers who have specifically specialized in art, music, drama and physical education, according to Wam.
