There was a new law passed by Sheikh Khalifa last week to prevent the use of VPN’s in the UAE. VPN stands for Virtual Private Network, they can be added to redirect your IP address to another country, therefore, by passing the blocked services in the UAE. VPN’s are reportedly widespread in the UAE to use services like VOIP or access content that isn’t available in the UAE. So, next time you go to use a VPN to download Pokemon Go, think twice!
