VICE Are Having Their Middle East Launch Party Tonight In The Armani Hotel And They’ve Brought A Hilarious Guest Over

Avatar

Last year, it had been reported that VICE will set up base in the Middle-East, in no other than Dubai. The edgy news documentary website will finally provide readers in the region with locally produced content, teaming up with Dubai’s MOBY media group.

Tonight, they will be having their official launch party at the Armani Hotel and their very own, the humorous Eddie Huang, will be included as a special guest.

Eddie Huang of Huang’s World and Munchies  is in the city to start filming

The restaurateur, writer and foodie, best known for his VICE work on a segment titled Munchies, has been out and about in the city and posted these very Dubai Insta photos.

It seems he also got a taste of our very own Salt Bae at Nusret’s Steakhouse

The episode, filmed in Dubai, is set to come out this June on @viceland

” There’s a massive young audience in the Middle East and North Africa that’s intensely engaged in the debates and stories happening around them—but no one is focused on offering them the immersive, locally produced content that they want. VICE, under the visionary leadership of Shane, has successfully captured the mind and heart of the youth across the globe .”

This could also mean job opportunities for filmmakers, journalists and creatives alike in the city
