WATCH: The Documentary About Two Emirati Women Joining An Ethiopian Tribe Has Received Huge Backlash

Recently, a documentary crept back out of the woodwork and has become a highly controversial topic. The Arabic-spoken documentary follows two women, both UAE nationals, who visit the Ethiopian ‘Mursi’ tribe. However, their intention is to live with them. Apart from the obvious language barrier, it is not a lack of communication that seems to be what has given the documentary such criticism, but the apparent behaviour of the Emirati women themselves. Obviously, combining two different cultures can prove challenging, but the internet had a lot to say about it.
