WATCH: Trailer For New Dubai Sitcom Has Dropped – And We’re Not Too Sure About It

So, we may be a bit late to the party with this one, but the promo trailer for D City (the first English-language Dubai-based sitcom) dropped earlier last month and we’re not really sure what to make of it.

Questionable acting aside, I’m confident no one has ever referred to Dubai as “D City” before – and we’re really hoping it doesn’t catch on.

Either way, the series has been signed for a 30-episode deal with Arab Telemedia Group in Jordan. Produced in the UAE, it stars Laura Quirke, Mylene Gomena and Dalia Sharawi.

But will the show do anything to enhance Dubai’s reputation? We think probably not. Watch the trailer and let us know your thoughts.
