White Just Announced Launching A Lounge Club In Jeddah And Social Media Went Into A FRENZY
Ne-Yo will be headlining its opening night on Thursday.
White Dubai, known in the city as one of the hottest night clubs, constantly bringing in artists from around the world has just set up spot in Saudi Arabia.
Hold your gasps right there.
Evidently, it won't actually be a full-on nightclub with booze and wild dancing. But it will cater to entertain the Saudi masses by bringing in international and regional artists to perform.
The White Jeddah lounge launches on Thursday at the Jeddah Waterfront but it has already received a bag of mixed reactions on social media, following its announcement made by the official White accounts on Tuesday.
The news immediately hit VIRAL mode
...as soon as White Jeddah announced Ne-Yo headlining its opening on Thursday. The American singer is no stranger to the White Dubai stages- sometimes even visiting the city twice a year for a performance.
So it's no surprise that the handlers of White would consider him for the launch of this lounge in Saudi.
Saudi Twitter was SHOOK
I’m cackling. I can’t believe there will be a white in Jeddah 😭😭. أنا أو— - (@faceyourfront) June 11, 2019
'Would have never seen that coming'
White Dubai is opening in Jeddah and in a 100 years I would have never seen that coming.— Calymans (@calymans) June 11, 2019
The bar will be totes halal
As it should
WHITE's full concept will be integrated into the Jeddah franchise, minus the alcohol. The high-end café will not serve alcohol, pertaining to Saudi Arabia's laws and regulations.— Mohammed Allawi (@M3llawi) June 11, 2019
White Saudi released a promo video on Tuesday but deleted the account immediately
But its Facebook account is currently (at the time of this writing) still in tact.
The popular Nikki Beach is also opening in Saudi Arabia
...to the year of changes!
First Nikki Beach and now White Club, what’s next Jeddah?— aljohara (@aljohara_alg) June 12, 2019
Some Saudis don't mind the opening of these entertainment zones as long as they're respecting the cultural and religious values of the country
I’m incapable of comprehending why everyone is making a fuss about White opening up in Jeddah. Some people enjoy the ambiance of the venue, while others don’t. They’re simply providing options for entertainment. If you’re against the concept simply don’t go. To each his own 🤷🏼♀️— Salma Al-Harbi (@salmaalharbi3) June 12, 2019
While others are just NOT here for it
White club? Jeddah ? Really? What’s going on in this world .. 👎🏼— Sally♡ (@Sallyydee) June 12, 2019
