A Lucky Woman Got Free Coffee And Chocolates On This Dubai Flight Because Of Her Cool Sleep Mask
Flying on a budget airline is always a hit and miss.
Especially with all the insane stories about period pains or flatulence that keep floating around.
Unless of course you’re wearing a cheeky sleep mask!
A lucky Egyptian woman, Shaimaa Raafat, shared her amazing flying experience with flydubai on her Facebook page and it’s pretty wholesome to say the least.
Her story
The story reads….”For a long time I had this idea about Fly dubai of being just another airline company that provides average/adequate customer service because it is a budget airline. Yesterday, for business reasons, I was flying with them on a very early morning flight to a destination where they are the only airline offering direct flights to (Obviously It wasn’t my first choice!). After boarding the plane, I had my gear on; eye mask, small shoal for warmth and a neck pillow trying to fall asleep until I finally was able too.
Half way through the flight, a lovely flight attendant woke me up saying..’Here’s your coffee’ .. ‘But I did not order coffee’ I said ( in budget airlines you don’t get free meals and drinks, if you want you can order and pay on board) .. so he said ‘but it says so on your eye mask’ with a big smile on his face.”
Yes people, she got free coffee because her eye mask, which she had on at the time, read ‘wake me up for coffee’. Not only that, the attendant also gave her chocolate bars saying that it goes best with coffee.
How utterly cute of the the Cabin Crew of flydubai! It’s a ridiculously simple gesture, but sometimes small gestures go a long way in making a lasting impression.
