You Can Now Fly Direct From Dubai To Disney World
Mickey, we’re coming for you.
If you’ve ever fantasised about skipping work and doing something crazy, like packing it all in and hopping on a last-minute flight to Disney World, today’s your lucky day. Your fantasy has just become a whole-lot more realistic with the latest announcement from Emirates – so get your Mickey ears and Snow White wig at the ready.
The Dubai-based airline has started running daily flights from Dubai International (DXB) to Orlando (MCO), Florida, home of Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. With a direct flight-time of 16 hours, you’ll have to be creative when keeping the kids occupied, but we promise Disneyland is worth it.
Especially if we can challenge Gaston to a push-up contest.
Located just a 20-minute drive from the airport, Walt Disney World spans an almost-unbelievable 27,259 acres and is home to 27 themed resort hotels. And, get this; it welcomes an incredible 52 million guests a year. 52 million. A year.
Orlando is the 10th US city that Emirates will service, while it plans to double its capacity on flights to Seattle. According to reports, the long-term plan is to fly into a grand total of 20 US destinations.
Let’s hope the next one is Legoland.
