Now that July is FINALLY over, let us welcome August with a big fat celebration.
It’s the first weekend of the month, so what antics are we up to this weekend? Well, I’m glad you asked!
Thursday
Probably the trendiest place you’ll ever see. Located in a secret club called Hobo, this alternative night was started by Brothers Keeper and is dedicated to providing an escape from all that is commercial!
If you’re looking for a new crowd, a different atmosphere, and a DJ that will give you a blast from the past, this is the place to be.
Thursday
Feeling a little too hot to be trapped indoors? Nasimi Night Pool Sessions have free entry and is open from 7pm until midnight!
Not only is there happy hour until 9pm, but there will also be fun games to be apart of as well as bumping music in the background guaranteed to keep you moving.
We stay up all night to get ducky.
Friday
Fitness360 is having a session of ALL DANCE EVERYTHING!
Starting with Bellydancing, they’ll also host a Bollywood and Zumba dance class back to back from 7pm to 9pm.
Entrance will be free to members of Fitness360, but everyone is invited to come in and join the classes for a small fee of AED15 per class.
Let’s go! Time to sweat off all those chocolate bars by the desk.
Friday
Whattagwanin? Time to get your Carribean on at probably my favourite spot right now.
This brunch will begin at midday and end at 5pm, but I promise you – by then you probably won’t want to leave Miss Lily’s ever.
Prices are ranging from AED250 to AED390. Get up on it and get with this Summer Blazin’ Brunch.
Saturday
Asma Al Jailani will be giving a talk as part of the Literaturhaus at Nadi programme, where she will discuss her experiences around how to begin work on a novel idea, methods to spark inspiration, writing habits, and what the writing process entails.
The talk will begin at 4pm and run for an hour – guaranteed to leave you inspired.
Saturday
And what better way to conclude the weekend rather than an unlimited selection of gourmet Sushi & Dim Sum?
Thats right – Asia Asia will run a Sushi Saturday between 2pm until 7pm for AED249 per person with a choice of either house grape, Japanese beverages, or organic tea.
Yummy.
