5 Of The Most Cliché Date Spots In Dubai

There are plenty of date-friendly spots in the city, and sometimes, you’ll find people fall into a bit of a groove with going to the same old date spots. 

One friend of Lovin Dubai has had as many as seven first dates at the same location (which is listed in this article). 

Sure, they are great choices for good reason – easy locations, nice atmospheres, good drinks and decent prices, but sometimes you need to mix it up.

Here are some of the least creative places to get out for a date.

1. Anywhere at Pier 7

Okay, we totally see why these are a great choice. Located in the Marina, licenced and fancy – but not too fancy, they’re a good shout for a date… says everyone ever. 

You’ll blend in with alllll the other couples sitting around at these venues. (They do have a top happy hour though…) 

2. Nola, JLT

It has seemingly become the go-to first-date spot, and it’s fair – the atmosphere is lively, and the food is good. But, it was great the first 10 times. 

Cool it now yeh? 

3. Ruth Chris Steakhouse

White linen tablecloths, muted lighting and Marina views – it’s uber romantic making it a standard date venue. 

4. The Meat Co.

Dubai Fountain views, and red meat – a perfect pairing for a date, and also, a standard date night venue. You’ll be immersed in a cluster of loved-up couples at this one. 

5. Cocktail Kitchen, JLT

Another good option in the growing JLT dining district, Cocktail Kitchen is sleek and sexy, making it a standard choice for a first date. 

At least if your date is a dud, you can get hammered eh?
