7 Top-Notch Events To Check Out This Week
Each week we’re all looking for fun and unusual things to try.
It’s not always easy to find stuff, but luckily we’ve teamed up with the guys at Dubai Eye’s The Ticket to bring you all the fun stuff to do this week.
Every Sunday, our team works with Mark and Stef to source the fun, fanciful and adventurous stuff to do around town.

Monday: Emirati Women’s Day
To celebrate Emirati Women’s Day, head to ADNEC in Abu Dhabi, for a fun day of games, activities and challenges, as well as mini spa treatments! It’s ladies-only but is free entry and free parking!

Tuesday: Beach days
On weekdays, the oh-so-chic El Chiringuito is opening its doors to residents for freeeee.
It’s the hottest new place to be, at Rixos The Palm. Enjoy the beautiful facilities free of charge, and get some seriously instagrammable shots.
Wednesday: Cinema Akil
Every Wednesday, head to Alserkal Avenue in Al Quoz for Cinema Akil. On Wednesday at 8pm, see Kawthar Younis’s beautiful documentary A Present From The Past.
Thursday: IMG Worlds of Adventure
For one day only, 365 lucky people are getting free entry to IMG Worlds of Adventure. It’s to celebrate the park’s first birthday and is set to be a huge day out!
The park opens at 11am, and it’s first-come-first served so don’t miss out!

The weekend
Celebrate Eid weekend in style with all these events
The Beach, JBR is going ALL out with fireworks for Eid Al Adha, and we can’t wait.
There will be four full days of fireworks, street performers, marching bands and discounts.
There will also be fireworks at Riverland Dubai too.
Wafi Mall Hasbro gaming weekend
You can take the family along to win prizes.
One word: Hasbro. And if you were born in the eighties or nineties, you grew up with this name.
And the classic gaming company has set up a huge gaming zone in Wafi Mall this coming Eid weekend and we’re all invited to play ALL of the games! So you can relive all your childhood faves (in no particular order):

And the very best thing? There will be some seriously cool prizes for the winners!
Get wet
All weekend long, and throughout next week, take the kids along to Dubai Marina Mall for the Better Wetter celebration of water.
The family-friendly event will run for 12-9pm, and have a water-gun fight, beach ball racing, target shooting and tag.
It’s available for children aged four and up.
