8 Malls You Probably Haven’t Heard Of In Jumeirah But They’re Quite Cool

Avatar

If someone asked you to name the malls in Dubai, chances are you would say The Dubai Mall, MOE, Marina Mall, maybe Ibn Battuta and City Centre Deira or Mirdif, right?

But there are so many other malls in the city that are way smaller but have so much to offer visitors. Jumeirah alone has eight of them.

1. Beach Centre

This community mall on Jumeirah Beach Road houses Dubai’s oldest Lebanese restaurant Automatic, in addition to a party supplies store, an arts and crafts shop and a not-too-bad Chinese restaurant The Chinese Pavilion.

2. Town Centre Jumeirah

Along with department store Paris Gallery and foot spa Feet First, you can also find restaurants such as Baker & Spice and Sumo Sushi at this mall located right next to Mercato.

3. Jumeirah Plaza

One-stop party shop Balloon Lady is perhaps the most popular bit of this mall. The mall also has noted book shop House of Prose and gifts retailer Susan Walpole (the brand behind those cute camel souvenirs).

4. Jumeirah Centre

The two-floor mall includes shops like Benetton, Emirates Sport and The Body Shop. Enjoy a catch-up over coffee at Gerard’s or dinner at Russo’s Pizzeria.

5. The Mall Jumeirah

Not too far away from Burj Al Arab lies this pretty prominent mall. You can shop for fashion or home items. If not, head there to grab a meal at the food court or indulge in beauty treatments at N-Bar or Zuri Beauty Lounge.

6. Palm Strip Mall

This Californian-inspired, open-air mall sits bang opposite the iconic Jumeirah Mosque. The busy spots in there are Proart gallery, confectionery store Burgundy and restaurant Japengo.

7. Sunset Mall

Its glass front, that’s lit up at night, makes this mall visible when you drive along Jumeirah Beach Road. In addition to luxury fashion boutiques and some nice spots to eat at (including PappaRoti), the complex also offers office space and apartments.

8. The Village Mall

With quite a few pricey stores tucked in different corners of this mall, it is an ideal spot if you’re in the mood to splurge. And if you’re playing host to a big celebration any time soon, do remember to check out Entertainment Design Company for their unbelievably opulent invitation cards.
