A Twitter User Is Cheekily Pointing Out Abu Dhabi’s ‘Spaghetti’ Road System
UAE drivers are one of a kind.
As a majority expat country (with over 200 nationalities housed under one roof!) it’s fair to say many have had different driving experiences before arriving here, and the high-way system can be difficult to navigate, if you’re not used to it.
Like Los Angeles, the UAE is made up of a modern high-way structure, and while you won’t find potholes, issues with signage, or obstructions, you will probably be subject to a facepalm (or three) when you miss an exit, because there’s simply no going back.
And right now on Twitter, some users are venting frustrations, while others are looking on the bright side
Sharing an image of his drive, Twitter user Mayed Al Shamsi said the roads are like spaghetti

Some drivers can relate

While others pointed out the obvious
Thats because you’ve missed correct road in the first place 🤷🏻♀️

Then, ANOTHER Tweet threw shade on the detours

With some suggesting these streets are better than Dubai streets
