Remember the message most of us got from Sheikh Mohammed last week? Well, now we understand why!

His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-president and prime minister of UAE and the ruler of Dubai unveiled the 'Mohammed bin Rashid Smart Majlis' basically a really cool platform that connects 30 government entities.

It enables users to log in, submit ideas, opinions, comments or suggestions which will then be transferred to and dealt with by the relevant authority.

The aim of this initiative is to help make Dubai the smartest and fastest developing city worldwide with the assistance of UAE Nationals, residents, visitors and all of Dubai's fans. By collecting feedback from the public, the Smart Majlis Programme hopes to encourage collective thinking, effective follow-up, as well as promote creative “out of the box” thinking. This is not the first time the ruler of Dubai has encouraged people to participate in an initiative for their benefit. He was also the mind behind the “ Arab Reading Challenge” which shows his wish for the youth of today to make a better tomorrow.

We honestly think this will be an incredibly effective way to make things better around here and a practical way to communicate ideas with the powers that be.

So, get going! It's time to put forward some ideas and work together to improve our city. Click pictures, shoot videos, share links. Your input matters the most. Help shape Dubai's future.
