Old Footage Shows The Late Baba Zayed Having A Traditional Bedouin Lunch In The ’60s
A video from the 1965 shows the late Sheikh Zayed having a traditional bedouin lunch in his community.
The footage comes from the documentary called ‘Farewell Arabia’, and it exhibits scenes from the desert shows the humility of the founding father of the UAE.
Although, we can’t quite pinpoint the dish- it seems to be a feast of rice and lots of meat, served on the floor and eaten by hand- altogether. A tradition that still exists in most family homes today.
