He duped his parents into coming to the awards, telling them it was a work-related event.

He booked out a function room at Five, Palm Jumeirah and invited his closest friends and family to the awards ‘do

He thought of everything

He created a ‘gratitude awards’ logo, arranged a ‘gratitude awards’ photo booth, and invited the entire audience to share the concept of gratitude…before the big announcement.

His parents were gob-smacked and the entire audience was in tears for this
