Crown Prince Fazza’s best bits on social media

Here in the UAE, we all know that the Crown Prince of Dubai HH Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum (we’ll call him Fazza) is as big as big deals get. Now, it seems the rest of the world agrees with us. Social media giant Snapchat has just selected him for their new ‘Official Stories’ feature along with a very select group of international leaders, celebrities and influencers, (think Justin Bieber and Kylie Jenner).

‘Official Stories’ is a new initiative introduced by Snapchat to help members find the ‘famous’ people that they’re looking for. It helps out when a celebrity doesn’t use their actual name on their Snapchat account by adding the person’s name at the top of the page under a new ‘Official Story’ header. An emoji to the far right will also identify the ‘Official Story’. In simple terms, it’s the equivalent of the blue tick on Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.

The fact that Fazza is part of this initial phase of selected influencers reflects his rising global popularity. Everyone in the Lovin Dubai office is obsessed with him on social media and with almost 1.4 million followers on Facebook, over 1.37 million on Twitter and over 2.8 million on Instagram… he must be doing something very right!
