‘Tis the season…

The season of cooler weather, the season of festive events and the season international footballers descend on Dubai to make the most of short breaks, and of the simply glorious weather, these guys have good ideas, AMIRITE?

This week, players on the Man United team announced they were arranging their own training camp here in Dubai, according to Sky Sports. But before they hit the pitch, (the first session was set for Tuesday) the boys were spotted doing a late-night burger run, at Dubai’s newest burger joint owned by Dubai’s most famous chef, Nusret Gökçe, aka Salt Bae.

Salt Bae is populating his ‘gram right now with updates from his new resto, Salt Bae Burger in DIFC and he posted a snap of the players.

The queues for Salt Bae Burger have been out the door since the resto opened last week

The players organised their own trip

Any players not part of the international team have a break in play in the UK, so some players, along with coaching staff, arranged three days worth of training here in Dubai.

It feels like an annual tradition now, only usually the team travel together and in previous years have stayed in the One & Only Royal Mirage for the duration of the trip.

After being spotted at Salt Bae’s new burger spot, fans are questioning their commitment to the sport
