MasterChef didn’t just grip a nation, it gripped over 200 nations, as the world’s most successful challenge cooking show format.

The cooking show with mass appeal, it originated in the UK in 1990 (with a revised format introduced in 2005), countless seasons have aired and it continues to pull viewers worldwide… All for a competitive cooking show.

But not JUST a cooking show. MasterChef is drama and excitement and now in a world first, it’s bringing an actual MasterChef restaurant to Dubai!

A restaurant with the MasterChef logo might not be enough to lure fans

A restaurant with the MasterChef logo might be enough to lure fans… Until a living legend from the Australian series, the extremely personably Matt Preston came to Dubai to kick things off, and the announcement that a hugely popular element of the show would be part of your restaurant experience (scroll for the deets)…

Plus, guests will feel like they’re in the show.

With dishes inspired by past contestants and a drinks bar which resembles the famous TV set, this is a slice of MasterChef for fans of the show in Dubai.

Bringing the drama to Dubai

If you’ve watched the show, you’ll know it’s an emotional ride and MasterChef is bringing the drama to Dubai giving GUESTS the option to choose the Mystery Box challenge.

To give guests at the restaurant a genuine MasterChef experience, visitors can put their chef to the test.

Choose the ‘Mystery Box’ menu and you’ll get to pick five random seasonal food items from a restaurant selection and the culinary team has strictly 45 minutes to make you something amazing. Pressure!

Look familiar?

A chef who counts Catch LA and Morimoto on her resume is approving the dishes

The dishes are inspired by past contestants, while international acclaimed chef, ‘Margarita’ Vaamonde-Beggs who will head-up the Dubai location will give the final go-ahead for each dish to appear on the menu.

With plans to take the restaurant global, this MasterChef restaurant is a world first, and it’s opening at Millennium Place Marina in Dubai this April. Curious foodies will want to check this out.
