Mo Salah Fans Are Loving This Hilariously Punny Egypt-Based “Liver-Fuul” Street Cart

Avatar

Bow down to the current king of puns; a street-food cart selling falafel and fuul in Cairo, Egypt which is in tribute to Mohamed Salah and Liverpool, his English club team.

Mohamed Salah is Egyptian’s golden boy, the humble football player has captured hearts for his skills on the pitch and his attitude off-pitch, and in what might be the ultimate tribute, a local food vendor has gone all out to remind Liverpool fans where he comes from.

Only launching in business this year, Liverpool fans are totally onboard with the concept as well as Twitter where the fuul themed cart is going viral.

In Egypt and beyond, this cart is making waves

A regular street cart in Cairo is grabbing international headlines

Why?

‘Cos people are living for the punny creativeness.

LiverFuul in tribute to Liverpool (of course) and the nation’s favourite fava bean dish ‘fuul’.

But it doesn’t stop there.

Dishes are named after stars of the teams including Wijnaldum falafel, ala Georginio Wijnaldum, while the famous Liverpudlian anthem also got a foodie rejig, so instead of “You’ll Never Walk Alone”, LiverFuul’s theme is“You’ll Never Eat Alone” and it’s all the punny life-advice you need.

“This is why I like being Egyptian”
