International Boxing Has FINALLY Allowed Women To Wear Hijab And The Internet Is Celebrating
Until last week, international rules for women’s boxing prohibited them wearing hijab.
However, following an announcement on Monday, the rule has been revoked. This is a huge win for competitive boxers and opens up the sport on an international level to so many.
The International Boxing Association (AIBA) officially changed their guidelines, now allowing female boxers to wear hijabs for religious purposes.
“Don’t change for the rules. Change the rules’
The International Boxing Association rewrote the rules, allowing women everywhere to box in hijabs. A huge win for me and for women across the world.
