The Prime Minister of France, Edouard Philippe, visited the Louvre museum in Abu Dhabi on Saturday as part of the French-Emirati Cultural Dialogue.

The dialogue resulted in a six-months collaboration series between the UAE and France by the Prime Minister.

This collaboration entails numerous festivals, exhibitions and educational initiatives, which will take place in both countries starting February to promote cross-cultural exchange.

Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Mohamed Bin Zayed, greeted French Prime Minister, Edouard Philippe, on Saturday.

Edouard Philippe was greeted to a tour by Noura Al Kaabi, Minister of Culture and Knowledge Development and Zaki Nusseibeh, Minister of State.

The Prime Minister also visited Wahat Al Karama in Abu Dhabi to pay his respects to the Martyrs and honour their sacrifice and celebrate their memory.

French President, Emmanuel Macron, visited the official inauguration of the Louvre museum last year, and it was followed by the French Prime Minister this year.
