HH Sheikh Mohammed Should Give Lessons On How To Kick The New Year Off The Right Way
While most of us are still working on our new year’s resolutions for 2019, the ruler of Dubai has kicked the year off with incredible energy the rest of us could learn from.
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who turns 70 this year, marked 50 years of service to the UAE with a set of guiding principles for people in authority to live by, a new promise to the nation’s residents and a new book – all in the space of two weeks.
Unlike so many who took a winter break, HH Sheikh Mohammed hit the ground running in 2019
He released a set of eight principles for all of those in responsibility to abide by
Today, I share the eight defining principles for governing in Dubai. I call on all those in a position of responsibility in the Emirate to abide by these principles ensuring their implementation at all events and times https://t.co/XGBDMN3ZBw

He shared a pledge and a promise to enhance the lives of people in Dubai in 2019
HH Sheikh Hamdan, Crown Prince of Dubai will oversee this Charter and it will be renewed annually.
This is a Charter that represents our pledge and promise towards enhancing the life of people in Dubai in 2019. A new charter shall be launched on Jan 4 every year .. https://t.co/Dhvt1PvImt

And finally, the leader of Dubai released a book
Titled “My Story”, the book is an insight into HH’s 50 years serving the nation, which he described as an “incomplete biography”.

This type of momentum kicks the new year off with a bang
Dubai has made giant leaps as a city in a short space of time, and it’s purely down to the driven, fast-moving leaders who lead by example.
Dubai is an amazing place to be in 2019
We’re seeing some exciting changes in the city as Dubai gears up to host EXPO2020, with the expanded Metro route coming to life, Dubai Creek Towers continue to rise, the Mohammed bin Rashid Library (the largest library in the Arab world) is expected to open, along with a massive and centrally located spot for gigs called Dubai Arena, which is located next to City Walk and has a capacity to host 17,000 people.
And plenty more. It’s hard to keep up with this city, but Dubai is no doubt a positive place to be in 2019.
