Umm al Quwain Stray Dogs Centre has highlighted one case of horrific mistreatment of a dog and it’s a sharp warning to per-owners in the UAE.

The shelter was contacted to rescue two ill dogs, however, on arrival, it was clear that one of the animals was close to death.

The German Shepard’s owners tried to convince the team they cared for the animals, while the shelter claims the owners were simply incapable of looking after the dogs, unaware of the effects of the excessive heat the animals were baking under could cause.

“The suffering this poor soul endured must have been horrific”

The rescue team highlighted this case to shines a light on the mistreatment of animals in the UAE. Stray Dogs Centre UAQ also regularly share updates of how you can volunteer, and animals up for adoption. Follow here to stay up to date.

FACE OF RESCUE (Distressing pics)

We received a call this morning to rescue two doggies…We were told that they looked sick 😔😔😔 The rescue team sprung into action and went to the location..The truth, however,

was far worse 😢😢😢

It was plain to see that the German Shepard was dying…Full of ticks, frothing at the mouth and peeing himself 😭😭😭 He was let out of the cage and was aggressive before dropping to the ground and dying before our eyes 😭😭😭

The suffering this poor soul endured must have been horrific 😭😭😭The owners, unperturbed with all the excuses under the sun whilst trying to convince us they cared for their dogs 😡😡😡

Words fail us as we try to make sense of this madness 😔😔😔 For but a minute this poor soul passed in front of people (SDC) who genuinely cared for him 😭😭😭

May you rest in peace beautiful boy in a place with no more neglect and pain 💔💔💔
