Summertime is finally here!

Children will be off of school for a couple of months and it’s the perfect time to get them learning stuff other then ABC and 123s.

Here’s a list of summer camps taking place in and around Dubai. Pick your fave and send the little ones off!

1. Top Chef

Top Chef cooking studio is running a fun programme to teach kiddies how to cook.

The camp will be running from July 8 and will be available till the end of August.

From classes run from Sunday to Thursday at 9am to 2pm, ages 6 to 12 only. Daily classes for AED300 or opt for weekly classes for AED1,200. Siblings can get a discount of 10% too.

2. Hilton Abu Dhabi

At Hilton, kids can enjoy playing a game of beach tennis, volleyball and football or can compete in a variety of races. Those who love the outdoors can visit popular sites with the team and those who love indoors can be occupied with all things artsy. Activities such as treasure hunts and aqua gym session will also be included.

The start of this summer camp kicked off on July 1 and will end on August 31.

The camps begins at 9am till 3pm and is priced at AED190 for daily bookings and AED850 for weekly.

3. Sheraton Sharjah Beach Resort & Spa

At Sheraton’s Kids Summer Camp, kids, aged 5 to 12, will be engaged in a variety of activites ranging from dance, yoga, arts and craft, photography, cooking and more.

Prices start at AED150 daily; AED650 weekly and AED1,500 for the entire month.

4. Fairmont The Palm

Fairmont is going ALL OUT this summer.

  • Culinary and Fitness Summer Camp

Children aged 8-14 can enroll to learn some handy cooking skills with daily dish creating at The Kids Palette, participate in the interactive HIIT workout and chill at the pool towards the end of the day.

The camp runs from 9.30am to 4pm, between August 26 to 30.

  • Summer Fun at Fairmont Falcons Kids’ Club

Children wanting to enroll in this nine-week programme will be having loads to do from group games to arts and craft, ice cream parties and some fun educational sessions too.

5. FitRepublik

This is for the sporty ones…

From gymnastics to martial arts, CrossFit, dance and games and a whole lot more. a team of professionals will be training your kids to be the best at all activities they’re offering.

Kids from five to 14 can take part in the active camp which ends on August 30 and runs from 8am to 3.30pm.

6. British Orchid Nursery

Tots will be learning about land, water, air and outer space through fun books, activities and illustrations. BON will also conduct one science experiment per week on each of the concepts.

Each week is going to be different and nothing less than a sheer roller-coaster.

The camp runs for July 1 till the August 23 for ages 2 to 5.

7. City Football School

This summer, boys and girls will get a chance to brush up on their football skills with City Football Schools summer camp.

Under the guidance and supervision of the fully qualified City Football coaches, kids will play football, stay healthy, make friends.

From July 15 to 19 and then 22 to 26 at Mubadala Arena, Zayed Sports City, 8.30am to 2.30pm.

8. Al Raha Beach Hotel

The hotel is hosting summer camp for kids aged four to 12 that’ll be exactly what your kids need for an adventurous and active summer.

Kids will be learning a range of skills including mini football, gymnastics, swimming, taekwondo, ballet and hip hop.

Prices are fixed at AED150 for a day, AED650 for a week, AED1160 for two weeks, AED1760 for three weeks and AED2200 for four weeks.

9. Alserkal Avenue

There are plenty of creative goings on at Alserkal.

  • Kids Summer Photography Camp

The first session caters to children ages 10-12 and starts from July 15, and teaches them the basics of using a camera, working together for a shoot and to explore their imaginative ideas through photography.

The second session teaches the same but caters to ages 13-15 and starts from July 22.

  • Sima Performing Arts

Kids aged 7-14 can explore the world of musical theatre and can develop their singing, dancing and acting skills.
From 9am to 1pm, Sunday to Thursday.

  • The jamjar

The jamjar’s camp will operate from July till the first week of September. These camps are designed to allow children to explore their creativity and to explore new artists and techniques while experimenting with materials.

Ages 6-9 and 10-14 can enroll.

10. Emaar EntertainmentEmaar is hosting a bunch of activities throughout the week. From learning how to ice-skate to going on an underwater adventure.

Kids aged 7-14 can have fun every day at this weekly Summer Camp.

  • Sunday – Kidzania
  • Moday – Dubai Ice Rink
  • Tuesday – Dubai Aquarium and Underwater Zoo
  • Wednesday – Reel Cinemas
  • Thursday – Burj Khalifa and VR Park.

The camp runs weekly from July 8 to August 16 and August 26 to August 30, from 8.30am to 3pm.

11. Cricket camps for all levels happening at the ICC Academy throughout the summer
