Team Angel Wolf is a Dubai based family fitness team made up of Dad Nick, Mum Delphine, son Rio and daughter Tia.
The family advocates the inclusion of children with disabilities in sports, they’re geared towards continuously uplifting the community to lead a healthier lifestyle and what they’ve achieved in the last year alone is remarkable….
62 events this season, 143 races in four years
From marathons to running with Dubai’s Crown Prince, it’s been a season of highs for the family
Son Rio, has a rare chromosome disorder called ‘1q44 deletion denovo syndrome’, which causes various health issues such as seizures, gross/fine motor skills disabilities and learning disabilities.
And so his family race with him, by land, by sea or even Dubai high rise tower races to complete racing events across the country.
For the 42km Dubai marathon Dad Nick was joined by four other runners and riders in specialised running chairs. For fans of Team Angel Wolf, watching the 10-person strong team cross the finish-line was undoubtedly one the highlights of this season.
