5 Reasons Why The Beach Is THE PLACE To Be At This Month

Opposite JBR is perhaps one of the nicest developments in Dubai.

We’re talking about The Beach. Other than giving us tons of dining options, a place to swim and get our tan on, it is offering so much more this month.

Here’s why you should be visiting The Beach in the next few weeks.

1. The Carnival

Think rides, arcade games and of course lots of prizes to be won. The childhood faves will be there too – a carousel and hook a duck.

Timings: 10am to midnight, daily

2. The Market

The artisanal marketplace will open mid-October and offer shoppers trinkets, jewellery and unique buys. Plus, there will be stalls retailing packaged foods for those who rather spend their time shopping.

Timings: 10am to midnight, daily from 15 October

3. Complimentary yoga classes

Four times a week (Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday) residents can enjoy the hour-long yoga classes which are free of charge. All you need to do is bring your mat and towel and head there 30 minutes before the class starts to secure your spot. (Remember: classes are on a first-come, first-served basis and begin at 7am.)

4. Visit one of the entertainment spots

Watch the latest movie at Reel Cinemas, try the obstacle course at Dubai Waterpark or rent a beach bed or cabana at Sea Breeze and spend the day with your fave book in hand.

5. The usual offerings

If you’re not interested in any of the above, head there for lunch or dinner (there are plenty cuisines to choose from) or shop from one of many outlets that offer fashion, cosmetics and even gift items.
