It’s Sunday and we’re back slogging away like the rest of you, albeit we’re slightly less spritely than usual. It was definitely an exciting (heavy might be more appropriate) weekend and we haven’t quite caught up on our beauty sleep yet. All in good time.

Just to share the love for our 44th National Day, we’ve rounded up the best pics from what’s been a long week of celebrations. From the 44 cute Hawksbill turtles released on Tuesday and the 44 hot air balloons that are still bobbing up and down around Dubai to the Dubai Rugby 7’s, here’s the best of the bunch…

Last Tuesday, National Day started with 44 cute turtles being released back in to the sea by the Dubai Turtle Rehabilitation Programme
