For when you crave a cheeky thirst-quenching beverage

For some it's all about the food and for the others...it's about everything that washes down the food. There are restrictions as to what can and can't be served during this time of the year, but we've done our research to find you a spot (or two or let's just say five) where you can have a bite and a bevvie at the same time. Cheers to that!

1. Dhow & Anchor, Jumeirah Beach Hotel (04 406 8720)

Th award-winning gastropub will cater to your food and beverage requirements from noon each day. The modern British menu boasts dishes such as fish and chips, the signature lunch platter (with Scotch eggs, cold cuts et al) and the juicy Wagyu burger. Have it with a beverage of your choice.

2. Perry & Blackwelder's, Souk Madinat Jumeirah (04 366 6197)

Touted as Dubai's first ever smokehouse, this new eatery will welcome diners from noon until 1am throughout this month. Its signature pulled brisket will be served alongside BBQ dishes such as slow-smoked Mesquite brisket and Texas sausage sandwich. Wash it down with one of the many beverages available on the menu.

3. Cocktail Kitchen, Cluster P, Jumeirah Lakes Towers (056 828 0727)

This JLT venue is your best bet for a good mix of bites and cocktails between noon and 1am. While the extensive drinks list might take your fancy, the food menu is equally interesting. Nibbles on the list include arancini and padron peppers, while roasted sea bass and steak are options for mains.

4. McGettigans, JLT (800 6247)

The Irish hotspot will be open from noon until 3am throughout this month serving favourites such as fish and chips, Irish stew and its popular homemade beef burgers. The good news: you can tipple too, just like the Irish do. Sláinte agus go raibh maith agat.

5. The MAINE Oyster Bar & Grill, The Double Tree by Hilton, JBR (04 457 6719)

This seaside brasserie has made a name for itself in no time and its cheeky signboard could very well be one of the reasons why. The venue will be serving its usual food and drinks menu from noon until midnight all throughout this month. Be it a lunch of prime steak tartare or the catch of the day, there will be a beverage to match.
