Glamping Right Here In Dubai Will Be The Next Big Thing
The UAE feels pretty central for anyone with the travel bug.
Whether you’re looking for cold weather, warm weather, mountains, cities or beaches, Dubai is centrally located meaning all these options are just a short flight away.
But lest we forget that not only do we live in an incredibly picturesque city, we’re also surrounded by a vast and beautiful dessert that’s 100% worth a visit during your vacation time.
Boutique camping spots have been cropping up all over the UAE
Like this low-key glamping spot in Jebel Ali, with activities like full moon yoga, evening BBQs and beach volley, and being a short drive from Dubai, a stay here will give you a taster of glamping life.
Then, slightly further a field, Dubai’s fitness communities are getting out of the city every weekend with options like the Alma desert retreat.
Come here for soul cleansing, and a mind and body detox. Activities include everything from high-energy workouts and mediation to filling out adult colouring books.

If you’ve visited any Meraas development (City Walk, La Mer, Kite Beach, Box Park and more) you’ll know how ‘gram friendly these destinations are. This project, which is expected to be completed before the end of the year, looks like it will follow suit.
These epic trailer-style set-ups and mountain side lodgings are where you’ll rest your head at night
With a focus on eco-tourism, the project will be built with the natural landscape in mind, with a strategy to increase “efforts in conservation and forestation as well as plans to enrich wildlife, support farming, and preserve water resources” in the area according to His Excellency Abdulla Al Habbai, Group Chairman at Meraas.
The images remind us of this Airstream trailer vacay Kourtney Kardashian took recently…. How cool does this look?!
