This Is Worrying – UAE Named As One Of The Fattest Countries In The World
In a recent article by Gazette Review, the UAE was listed as the 6th “fattest” country in the world. Although, the actual statistics/research behind the article is unclear (they didn’t say), a number of other sites have also listed the UAE within their top 20’s.
We’re not going to debate the truth to these numbers (according to Zurich International Life 47.5% of UAE residents are overweight and 13% are obese), everyone in Dubai knows that we all rely a little to heavily on the food delivery system, taxi’s and hover boards and that we should all be looking towards the future of our health a little more.
Thankfully though, when it comes to health and wellbeing the powers that be here in Dubai lead by example and have ensured that we have an amazing exercise-and-health-friendly environment to help us maximise our healthy potential.
Here’s the countdown from the report:

5.Jordan
4. Egypt
3.Belize
