These 7 Brunches Are Ruling Friday Afternoons And You May Not Know About Them

Avatar

You
know you’re a true Dubai resident when you spend Fridays at brunch.

Hey, it’s not necessarily boozy brunches that we’re referring
to. You could seriously enjoy brunches just for the food and ambience.

And with so many new restaurants and offerings introduced this
summer, here are some that will make you countdown to Friday.

1. Level Seven, W Dubai

Seven
Mediterranean cuisines, live entertainment and a 25% off if you make a
reservation versus just landing up there…what’s not to love? Your Feed
Me experience isn’t complete without a dive into the dessert spread. Anyone
with a good sense of taste will appreciate the treats on offer there. It’s
available from 12.30pm to 4pm. Prices start from AED 395.

For more information, call 04 436 6666.

2. Rove Downtown Dubai

The
Bench brunch is available on Friday and Saturday and costs only AED 99 per
person. Expect home-made breakfast dishes, pasta, sandwiches alongside a
buffet including cold cuts, cereals and pastries. Take your time to relish
each dish because it’s available until 5pm.

For more information, call 04 561 9000.

3. Treehouse, Taj Dubai

This
brunch doesn’t require you to wake up early. It starts at 6pm and goes on until
9pm. What you get along with a picnic basket to kickstart your
brunch is pretty decent views of Burj Khalifa. Did we mention the
unlimited flow of Veuve Clicquot? The entertaining evening will set
you back AED 545.

For more information, call 050 648 3038.

4. Novikov, Sheraton Grand Hotel

The London import’s Friday brunch boasts their A-grade Pan-Asian cuisine. Opt for a starter and main from an extensive list of options. There are hot and cold stations that offer everything from sushi to dim sum and dessert. Prices start from AED 370 and it’s on from noon to 4pm.

For more information, call 04 388 8744.

5. Ting Irie, Souk Al Manzil, Downtown Dubai

Downtown’s
newest eatery is the closest you’ll get to island life on a Friday. Dig into
unlimited Jamaican bites from noon to 5pm while DJ Cheriana provides upbeat tunes.
Ditch the cutlery and use your hands instead when you’re at its signature jerk
chicken because there’s no better way to eat it. Note: the outlet only serves
non-alcoholic beverages. Brunch costs AED 195.

For more information, call: 04 557 5601.

6. Spice and Ice, Cluster A, JLT

Indian
cuisine dominates this Friday brunch. You’re in for appetisers and mains
served à la carte. They also have live stations dishing out molecular
gastronomy stuff (who doesn’t love a bit of drama?). Don’t be surprised at seeing
them make the Indian savoury dish dhokla in less than 45 seconds. Head
there with an appetite because all you’ll be doing from noon to 4pm is eating
(and drinking, obvs). Brunch costs AED 199 with unlimited house beverages.

For more information, call 050 113 9432.

7. Seasons, Pullman JLT

It’s
not just a brunch but a little experience for AED 299. The package includes
international favourites at meal time followed by a one-night stay in one of the comfy rooms of the property. They’ve also thrown
in access to Riva Beach Club. What’s stopping you from booking it? For an additional AED 125
you can get house beverages too.

For more information, call 04 567 1100. Use the code ‘wkndbrnch’
when making your reservation.
