Rawan Kashkoush, the Creative Director of Dubai Design Week had an interesting chat with Richard Fitzgerald (the host of the DUBAI WORKS business podcast) about the leading design event of the region.
She spoke about the six day programme that covers different aspects of design including architecture, product design, interiors, multimedia and graphic design.
She talks about the two key design trends that are prominent this year, one being the preservation of identity and bringing that forward.
The other being, architects experimenting and playing with climate control to come up with more efficient and innovative ideas.
