‘Dubai Lifts Lockdown In Style’: People Are Praising Dubai’s Ability To Reopen
On July 7, Dubai reopened for tourism.
After a global pandemic threw the world into disarray, the aviation industry, in particular, was hit the hardest when DXB and other UAE airports made the decision to close, to curb the spread of COVID-19.
For three months it was repatriation flights only, but now the world’s busiest airport for international travel has reopened and strives once again to welcome travellers from all over the world for transit and for vacations.

Ahead of the reopening, Dubai received the Safe Travels Stamp from the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), which validates the stringent global hygiene and safety protocols the city has put in place to ENSURE the health and safety of tourists and passengers
Dubai’s Crown Prince, HH Sheikh Hamdan was even there on day 1, reviewing preparations and protocols

Helal Al Marri, director-general of Dubai’s Department of Tourism and Commerce Marketing told Bloomberg “We’re looking forward to seeing aggressive growth coming once things normalize towards the year-end.”
