Dubai Begins To Welcome Tourists From Today

Avatar

On March 24, Dubai closed its airspace and halted all international flights. Now on July 7, Dubai has opened its borders to tourists and visitors from around the world.

Before flying, all tourists must take a PCR test (COVID-19 nasal swab test) in a hospital or clinic from their respective country. Visitors must carry their negative test results.

If the test is valid and the visitor is not showing any symptoms, they will not be tested or quarantined.

If the tourist does not have access to testing, a medical team at Dubai airport will screen them. The visitor should take an airport taxi to their hotel and self isolate in their room until the results arrive, which will take two to three days.

Visitors staying with family should do the same and isolate themselves in a separate room.

Testing for children of all ages in mandatory.

All tourists and visitors MUST download Al Hosn, COVID-19 tracing app.
