Dubai Municipality Has Announced That Free Tap Water May Not Be Mandatory For All Restos

Dubai Municipality recently announced that restaurants in Dubai will have to offer filtered tap water to its customers in order to cut down on waste.

However, they have now clarified that it will be up to the hotel if they want to offer filtered tap water to its customers.

This initiative was announced to cut down on the use of plastic by making filtered tap water mandatory in restos by next year

But DM has made clear that the Food Code doesn’t say anything about making tap water mandatory in food outlets.

It is up to the eatery if they want to be a part of this initiative.

There are still a few places that are offering free filtered tap water to its customers such as The Noodle House and the Flow.
